Biography
Double Platinum selling songwriter Marvee Woods. First appeared in the industry in the late 90s featuring as a rapper on the C-Swing remix of the single A.W.O.L by UK R&B singer Beverley Knight which was released on Parlophone Records. He also co-wrote “Shake It” - the B-side of the UK Top 10 single Jumpin by Liberty X, which charted at No.6 in the UK. Woods went on to work with French pop star Matt Pokora on his Mise A Jour 2.0 album, which was released on EMI Music France. He co-wrote the song “Nothing” on the double platinum selling album. Many studio sessions followed with a number of UK and global X Factor and The Voice contestants including Alexandra Burke and Jermain Jackman in the UK, Germany’s Sarah Conner and Spain’s Maverick Lopez, whose album charted at No.4 with a song Woods co-wrote called “18 +1”. Woods followed this up with becoming co-writer of “Come Together”, which was released on Diana Ross’ Thank You album; and “Deep & Meaningful”, which was released by Judge Jules.
Marvee is currently is working with various artists, including Judge Jules, Junior Andre, Rymez, Ayo Beatz, Sky Adams and more. There is so much more to come from this talented songwriter.
